Bbc has five Standing Committees:

BEC (Bird Event Committee)
• Hold annual bird-photo exhibition (since 2014)
• Organizes bird fair/ race (since 2000)

BRC (Bird Research Committee)
• Conducts annual Asian Waterbird Census in Bangladesh (since 2000)
• Carries out bird surveys to support conservation work (since 2000)
• Organizes bird-ringing camps in Bangladesh (since 2010)

BCC (Bird Checklist Committee)
• Updates National Checklist of the Birds of Bangladesh (since 1996)
• Updated the Checklist of the Birds at the Hotspots in Bangladesh (since 2000)

BPC (Bbc Publication Committee)
• Publishes Bbc Newsletter titles ‘Banglar Pakhi’ (since 1996)
• Publishes book/ booklet on birds of Bangladesh (since 2008)

BGC (Bird Research Grants Committee)
• Awards grants for bird-research to M Sc/ M Phil students (since 2015)
• Awards grants for small study/conservation projects on birds(since 2015)
